I wish I could give this CVS pharmacy 0/5 stars... too bad I can’t. If you’re looking to choose a new pharmacy in the area DONT COME HERE. Everyone in the pharmacy is unprofessional and unqualified. As I walked in to the pharmacy there is a long line of angry customers because the pharmacists appeared to be completely behind on their scripts. I proceeded to talk to the pharmacy technician (her name is Pat) and she was extremely rude. To make a long story short I had to set up a new account with this CVS because I haven’t been there before. Pat explained that I needed an Rx pharmacy card to register with the pharmacy, which I’ve never needed at any other CVS in the country because my info is already on file. She entered all my info, told me everything looks great and my prescription would be ready in 15 minutes. Upon arival 4 HOURS LATER, I found out that Pat didn’t enter any of my information into the system. It now all began to make sense because when I was originally speaking with pat she would not stop bitching and complaining that she wanted to go home.

I have had nothing but headaches ever since I had to change from Giant Pharmacy to CVS due to an insurance change. First, after personally bringing in all of my family's prescription vials so they would have the information to transfer and our insurance cards, I received a call from a very nasty employee that my son's group number was wrong. She then refused to tell me WHICH Insurance it was (he has two). I had to bring the cards again and it turned out a number had been transposed on his secondary insurance. Something that could have easily been handled over the phone if the woman would have told me which insurance it was. Next, my son's medication couldn't be filled because there "was a problem on the doctor's end submitting the electronic script" I never had a problem with that medication being submitted by the same doctor in the same manner to Giant in over a year. I ended up going to his pediatrician and taking a paper script directly to CVS only to be told it needed to be ordered. My doctor had sent the request almost a week prior and by time CVS finally notified me about the "problem" my son was completely out of his medicine. When I finally got the medicine, they had failed to mix it! It was just the powder. We received a new insurance card and again I took it personally to CVS, waited while they supposedly updated the information for the entire family. The next medication i picked up for my son actually went without a hiccup. I called my medication in, spoke directly to an employee and was told there was an issue with my insurance. Apparently my Insurance had not been updated when I brought in the new cards. I was told Thursday morning to just bring my card to the drive thru and it would all be taken care of. Friday morning, I go to the drive thru hand them my Insurance card again and tell them I'm picking up my prescription. I'm told it will be about 10 min so I park in front of the store. 15 mins later I get a call from CVS asking WHAT WAS I REFILLING?!? I told them I had called in the prescription 24 hours ago to an actual person. I was then told it would be ANOTHER 20 MINS for it to be ready!!! If I could go back to Giant I would immediately. I am really, really disappointed with CVS but I'm stuck.
